Each year in the Fall, Oceanview church of Christ hosts a Gospel Meeting. We invite a different guest speaker to share a series of lessons Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on a timely, Scripture-centered theme. It’s a time to grow in the knowledge of God's Word, bring friends, and be renewed in Christ together.

​If you’ve never attended a gospel meeting before, it’s simply a series of lessons centered on a biblical topic—something congregations have long used to encourage Christians and reach the community.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Bible-centered teaching. Lessons come straight from Scripture.
• Worship. Congregational a cappella singing, prayer, and preaching.
• Open to All.  No cost, no registration—just come.
• Family-friendly. Kids are welcome; we have a Nursery & plenty of open seating 
• Ask questions. Elders and members are always glad to study with you.​

Fall 2025 | Rick Brumback

​These lessons focus on the positive influence of Christ and the Christian faith on human life and culture. ​Where many see Christianity as an unwelcome religion, the truth is that Jesus has introduced the way to experience abundant living now and an eternity of blessedness in the life beyond. This series will challenge Christians to live out their faith faithfully.

Fall 2024 | Caleb Colley

In the fall of 2024, Oceanview church of Christ welcomed guest speaker Caleb Colley for a weekend gospel meeting. Over three days, he presented lessons designed to strengthen faith, provide clear evidence for the truth of the gospel, and encourage Christians to live with eternal hope.

Fall 2023 | Jared Jackson

In the fall of 2023, Oceanview church of Christ hosted Jared Jackson from Jackson, Tennessee for our annual gospel meeting. His series, Walking on Heaven’s Road, focused on heavenly truths and the hope that anchors every Christian. Over three days, he presented lessons that encouraged us to live faithfully, worship in spirit, and set our eyes on eternity.
